"I’m not quite sure why this place has 2.9 stars at the moment of this review. I visited Newk’s for first time and it was pretty packed. The service from the staff was friendly and the food quality was great. The prices are fair in comparison to similar restaurants and not overpriced as claimed by some people here. Highly recommend this place, it has tons of options on their menu with quality ingredients on their food, worth every penny!"

"I honestly can’t believe the bad reviews! There was a newks where I used to live and it was always great, so I was excited to have one coming closer. My husband and I ate here today and the food was just as good as I remember! It was very clean, food was fresh, deserts are good. Yes there are a lot of college kids but everyone was busy working while we were here and very polite. Will definitely be back. I love that they have the option for dine in, takeout, and drive-thru."

"An excellent addition to Statesboro. I have gone repeatedly, food is always excellent and never had a bad experience. Staff is friendly. I cannot explain the negative reviews but I have probably visited 30+ times since they opened and always a good experience. I will be back."

"Listen people and listen to me good. I'm pretty sure you know like me, it's the workers on that particular day you go in that'll determine if we get good service, good food, and a good atmosphere. Now with that being said, I'm as picky as they come. This 5 star rating is just for today's service and food only. That dawg on Newks Q Sammich was bussin!!!! That was the prettiest white chicken meat I've seen in a long time from a spot that serve sammiches(would've thought God sent manna from heaven as meat), and it was good I tell'ya. Everything on that sammich was good. Somebody said it was horrible, but I say they had a horrible cook or préparer(whatever you callem)that day. I'm going back next week to try something different, you gotta space it out...and if it ain't bussin, Newks we gone have a discussion. Until then, managers and customers please be good to the employees, that they be good to me next week!! Bless em Lord."

"I absolutely love this place and everything about it. Unlike what all of the other people might be saying, the employees work extremely hard and I have never had a problem with any type of customer service. The food is extremely good and the price is not terrible. Overall, I would recommend this place, despite the negative hate from some people."

"One of my favorite places to eat. I've been to newks many times with their location in Tallahassee. The food tasted great as always , and the pricing was very fair. I have gone to this one a fair bit sence it opened and have yet to have a true issue with it in any way."
